Located at 2404 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93003, Thai Fire operates as a restaurant serving Ventura in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 amβ3 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (805) 667-8929. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is thaifireonventura.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 225 reviews, which is a strong result for a restaurant in Ventura and suggests consistent service.

This is the BEST Thai food that I have had! Beautifully and artfully served, delicious and authentic, cooked to order. Very small dining area. Lots of people get food to go. At certain times, there will be a wait. Service excellent-you feel like family. There's is not one thing I have had that wasn't delicious! Heat profile as you request. You have to try this place.

05/31/2026β My husband ordered the Taro Milk and the Vegetable Pad Thai. His honest opinion is that he loved the vibrant colors, exquisite flavors, and excellent presentation and he added that it was a very generous portion. I ordered the Khao Soi with chicken; the presentation was spectacular. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and mixing all the vegetables in with the noodles made for a delicious combination. My Thai Iced Tea was also very well prepared! For takeout, we ordered the spicy basil Fried Rice, which was also delicious. We will definitely be back! 06/07/26β My husband and I went to this restaurant for the second time today! We came back because we liked it the first time; back then, he ordered the vegetable Pad Thai and I had the Khao Soi. Today, he ordered Pad Kee Mao (medium spicy) and a taro drink. He enjoyed the food; the "medium spicy" level was quite hot for him, but he was okay with it. As for the taro drinkβwe both tried it, and unfortunately, today it tasted like nothingβjust milk or completely flavorless. As for me, I ordered the red chicken curry. It was tasty, but it uses the same sauce as the dish I ordered previously. Honestly, if you want red c

Recommended by our realtor as the best Thai food in town. We are vegan and gluten intolerant and Thai Fire offers tasty dishes that accommodate our dietary needs. It does get busy but worth the wait. Itβs a local family run business and staff is very friendly. Portions are large and beautiful presentation.

We ended up going on a Tuesday at dinnertime for a group of 5. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was very attentive to us and the service was great. We got chicken chow mein, pad thai, fried rice, pad ke mao, pad see ew, and the dumplings. The food was not spicy at all and lacked flavor in my opinion; the chili oil helped with the flavor but I wouldn't advise putting too much on there if you don't do well with spice. I would come back again to try other menu items and see if my opinion changes over time but I thought it was a good experience overall.
